Play nine holes of golf on one of Alberta 's oldest golf courses. For just a few dollars you can golf all day with a beautiful mountain backdrop.
Nordegg's original Golf Course was planned and the layout began in 1916. To start there were only 7 hole, eight and nine were added in the 1930's. When the Brazeau Collieries was closed in 1955, the course began to return to it's natural state. Renewal of Nordegg's Golf Course began in 1990, with a small group of dedicated Nordegg Old-Timers, joined by golf enthusiasts from the area. At first there were only four holes, gradually this expanded to seven, later it became nine holes. Soon after a Golf Tournament was organized, now it is a yearly event in July. Today, the Nordegg Historical Golf Course is becoming a well known family-orientated Golf Course.
Nordegg Historical Golf Course is located 86 KM west of Rocky Mountain House on Hwy. #11. Surrounded by mountain splendor, our nine hole course is ideal for all levels of golfers as well as great day out for the entire family. Club rentals, power carts, accessories and snacks are available at the clubhouse.
