These formations are found along a stream also called Bear Creek or Hoodoo Creek rising approx. 10 meters above the creek bed. Created by glacier actions over time they erode leaving a large cap rock formation on top. 

The hoodoos can be easier seen from the Saskatchewan River near Whirlpool Point, interestingly enough there is a shallow cave that along the trail to explore also.
